I was Kevin's Writing 101 teacher at Ole Miss. I want to express my deepest sympathy to Kevin's family and friends. Kevin was a polite and very bright student and a pleasure to have in my class. Myself and my class are grieving this unimaginable loss. Today I invited a grief counselor to speak to my class. He said to honor Kevin's memory by living the best life you can live. That you can change it today; it's possible. Maybe that made a difference in one of these young students' lives. I am honored to have been Kevin's instructor. He has touched my life and I'm sure many others.

Our son has been friends with Kevin for years and was visiting Ole Miss for the football game at the time of the accident. He went to comfort Connor and their grief that morning was beyond measure. Kevin and I went to St. Joe Cot together. We weren't very close, but in grade school we were one giant family.
