Our thoughts are with you and your family, Jane. Forty-nine years ago yesterday (8/5/67) you and Larry visited Rolla, and Larry was my best man. Prior to that Larry was my colleague at the Fed, roommate, and golf and beer drinking buddy. So glad we were able to catch up a bit this past year, and get out for lunch several times. Keep the Faith, 'ol Buddy.

Janey, We send Our Deepest Condolences to your entire family. As a wonderful, faith-filled partner to Larry, I know God will PROVIDE the strength You will need in days ahead. Because of Your Great Faith, God will be there to comfort You. I wasn't around Larry a lot, but he was always upbeat when we were. And I know he taught his family great faith in God, and to live your Life Always Giving to Others. He was very lucky to have You Janey, such a caring, positive wife. Remember all Your Times together, and Thank You for All You gave to all those around both of You. GOD KEEP YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN AND FAMILY IN HIS LOVING, COMFORTING ARMS.

As a classmate from Laboure High School, Larry was a good friend and provided many great memories. I'm saddened to hear of the passing of another classmate. Larry will always be remembered.

My deepest condolences to the entire Abeln/Isaacs family on this loss. I grew up on Marias Drive, and my father, Vahan Haroian, was a business associate of Mr. Isaacs, Jane's father. I used to babysit for Larry & Jane's children when they were little. It has been many, many years...but when I saw the sad news of Larry's passing on the Bellefontaine Neighbors Facebook page, I was truly taken aback. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all in this time of deep sorrow.

Larry was the Bellefontaine Neighbors Treasurer/Expert on the cities finances while I was a member of the Board of Alderman. He was always a gentleman, an asset to the city and a great person to be around. I had nothing but respect for him and his expertise on the city's finances. I'm sorry to hear he has passed. I'm sorry for your family's loss. I'm sure he leaves an emptiness in your heart not soon to be mended.

You always gave me everything I wanted but the corvette for my 16th birthday...You taught me money don't grow on trees..You taught me values..You showed me how to give...You told me not to buy 2 homes at a time...You taught me to be a Catholic...You taught me to repect my mom...You taught me everything and I will lead as example to your wishes..I will take care of your wife...I will take care of your family...We will be in Florida together as soon as I retire...You will be with me everyday...You were the man that I wanted to be..You will be missed...

My Dad, my best friend, my mentor, my teacher, my rock will be greatly missed. His favorite saying was "KEEP THE FAITH" and lived his life putting others first.
Larry was the best father, grandfather, friend to many and husband of 50 years to my mom. My Dad's Faith in Jesus, his family, and his service to others were most important to him. I am fortunate to have spent every day during the last 3 years with him and his sense of humor continued to make us smile and laugh, even up to his final days here on this earth.
Although we mourn his passing from this life, we celebrate the life he lived here as he touched many.
He spent his final days exactly how he wanted, at home with family, with the Bible, and with the Cardinals game on the radio.
I am sure that he will be the life of the party with his family and friends in Heaven and they are celebrating his arrival.
Thank you to everyone for your support and prayers!
