Mary Jane,
I got to know Larry over 52 years ago. He was a kind and compassionate man and he cared deeply for his family and friends. Larry was probably the smartest one of our special group in the Army. I loved him like a brother. I will miss our frequent phone calls and emails.

My condolences to the entire Bahr family. I knew Larry for many years when he was the IBM CE for Monsanto and at that time I was in Computer Operations. He was a favorite of all the computer operators and it was a wonder that he ever got any work done. Whoever's computer was down would talk his arm off and he would do likewise. He was a lot of fun. The last time I saw Larry was around my retirement about 15 years ago as I was leaving 'G' building. We only talked for a few minutes but I still remember it. Same old Larry.

I had the good fortune to work closely with Larry for many years at IBM. I always valued his complete integrity and sense of humor alongside his amazing skills in solving problems. Some of my favorite childhood memories include the Bahr family, and Larry in particular. I will never forget the Halloween that he wore a toilet seat around his neck so he and my dad could take us trick or treating! He played a lot of pranks on 228 Flesher! My heart broke when I heard that he passed. My prayers are with you all.
