I ran into Linda several years ago at the Starbucks on Forsyth. She recognized me as being in the class behind her at St. Roch´s School. And speaking of "being a powerhouse of irreverent humor, style and drama," Linda asked me why all the boys in my class had crushes on all the girls in her class. I was momentarily thrown off, and said "What?" but then I quickly realized Linda was correct, all the boys in my class thought that Linda and all the other girls in her class were so pretty. And speaking of "love and profound generosity," Linda donated to the Mount Grace Convent (Pink Sisters) in memory of my brother Marty when he passed away a little over a year ago, so I have returned the favor, asking the Pink Sisters to remember Linda and her family in their prayers

I was lucky enough to meet Linda in the early years of Blueberry Hill, being one of the first workers there. Linda and Joe brought me into their families and I always felt incredibly honored to be considered one of their friends. Sending deepest condolences to Joe, Hope and Christine. May Linda's memory be a blessing.

She was a classmate of mine at Nerinx. We had lots of laughs together. She always had a place in my heart. RIP Linda.

Linda (and Joe) shared their home and meals with us when we were in a time of need, and we all laughed lots, often because of Linda's wit. She had class and, at the same time, was as down to earth as could be. Thoughtful. Adventurous. A blast. A great host and creator. The fun of many, many Club Bimbo parties can be traced to her (and Joe's) appreciation of life and willingness to share. Earth is a less vibrant place without Linda. She's irreplaceable.

Dear Joe, Hope, and Christine,
I am so sorry for your loss, I remember Linda very well. I worked at Dr. Daniel Sullivan's office on Delmar for many years and you all were patients there. I remember Linda hated coming to the office and always asked if I would be with her during her appointment. She was so kind, she invited us to Blueberry Hill often for lunch, and once to see a Chuck Berry show in the duck room. I remember one time she asked if she could use this old pink dental chair Dr. Sullivan had in the basement at our dentist office in her window for a dental Halloween display. She wanted us all to act out a scene in her window too! That was so much fun. I still have the photo! I am the one with the short brown hair. I thought a lot of Linda, she was always so nice to me. I wish we could have kept in touch. I am so glad I got to meet her and be her friend. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Mary Kennedy McDaniel

Many of my earliest childhood memories are of Linda and the rest of the Kennedy family from Pershing Ave and St Roch. May she rest in peace. My sympathy to her family.

Hands away from keyboard and just relax. Our friendship began almost 20 years ago when she wanted to learn how to use her Mac. I loved and respected her from the moment we met. I will miss you and never forget what you´ve taught me!
