Harlan, Lolita K. 'Lete' (nee: Schroeder) St. Charles, MO, July 14, 2007 age 84. Loving wife of 63 years to Arnold Harlan; dearest mother of Wayne A. (Judy) Harlan and Shirley K. (Ron) Haake; beloved grandmother of Jason Harlan, Nicki (Jeff) Hight, Derek (Jen) Haake, Zach Haake and Ryan Haake; dear sister of Robert C. (Pat) Schroeder, Mildred (Vernon ) Philipps and sister-in-law Oma Schacherbauer; preceded in death by her parents, Frank H. and Ida S. Schroeder, brother Alfred Schroeder and sisters Verna Plackemeier and Myrtle Plackemeier. Mrs. Harlan worked with the Ferguson-Florissant School district for 20+ years, she was the past & current president of Northside Homemakers; Red Cross Blood Drives volunteer; Election volunteer; MO University Extension Club President and Treasurer; member of Ladies Guild at Atonement, Lydia Society at Immanuel Lutheran and Sunday School Teacher. Her hobbies included Square Dance (53 years), North County Swingers, Hilltoppers Club, walking and traveling, quilting and cooking for family and events.Services: The family is being served by the Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson, St. Charles, MO where visitation will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2007 4:00-8:00 p.m. at BAUE and Wednesday 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Church. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Charles, MO. Interment Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the General Fund at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Charles, MO. Share your condolences and memories at www.baue.com.
