Dear Butch,

Loretta once told me a story about you and my relatives hanging out in my G-parents basement on Kemp, getting rowdy playing cards, wrestling and knocking over the x'mas tree and that she thought of GM Helen as a saint and hearing that from Loretta really meant alot.

My mother told me that Loretta was one of the prettiest girls she had ever met.

When I was a kid I remember walking by your house by Garfield in the old Northwoods to visit your adorable little girls...if my memory is right. This would have been circa 1970'ish.

My mom told me that Loretta was one of the prettiest girls she had ever met.

I have met Tiger once are twice. Spent a vacation with Quimbo, Annie and kids in Florida years ago, and want you all to know that I am deeply sorry for your loss and that your family is in Our prayers.

Butch, Katie & Joanie,
When Peggy Davies and I were 12 and 13 we idolized our beautiful cousin Loretto. We thought she was the coolest teenager in the world! As we got older every time I was with Loretto we had such fun. I was truly blessed to have her touch my life. She never lost her beauty, inside and out. The world is now a sadder place without her and my thoughts and prayers are with the three of you as you cope with your great loss.

Dear Corrigan family,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of Loretto.
In the olden days I used to baby-sit for Joan and George Corrigan when they lived on Barrett Street. Loretto was the eldest child. She was such a beautiful child, with that dark hair and those beautiful eyes.
I cannot tell you how shocked I was to read of her death.
Please accept my sincere and heartfelt sympathy.
Alex Koch, formerly of Holy Name Parish.

Butch, Joanie & Katie,

We are so very sorry for your loss. Loretto was such a kind, gentle soul. Her suffering is over now, and may she rest in peace.

An Irish toast for my Irish friend:

May the Lord keep you in His hand
And never close His fist too tight.
