Monahan, Louis Joseph "Louie"
Died suddenly on November 3, 2023 of complications from an illness. Louie was born September 18, 2022 to parents Sarah Sims and Joe Monahan.
He was loved deeply by his parents, his brother Paul, his grandparents Tanya Sims, Carl Sims, and Jean Monahan, and many adoring cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He is welcomed in heaven by his grandfathers Ted Sims and Bill Monahan, and his uncle Paul Monahan.
In his short life, Louie won over hearts and brightened lives with his easy smile, delighted laugh, and sparkling eyes.
Services: Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, November 11, 10 a.m. at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at THE LUPTON CHAPEL, 7233 Delmar Blvd., University City, on Friday, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Donations in Louie's name may be made to Flance Early Learning Center (1908 O'Fallon, St. Louis, MO, 63106). Memorial contributions may be made by visiting https://www.flancecenter.org, a school that wrapped Louie in love, included him fully, and helped him to grow tremendously.
