Dow, Mark Allen
72, of Town and Country, MO, passed away on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022. Born in Detroit, Mark was a devoted husband to his wife Betsy (Rand) Dow for over 35 years, a dedicated family patriarch to his 3 children and 5 grandchildren, and a loyal friend to many, including lifelong friendships dating all the way back to his grade school days. He was an avid lover of fine wines, local sports, golf, dry humor and his beloved dog, Rudy.
Mark considered himself a "bean keeper instead of a bean counter". He was able to parlay his gifts into an exceptional career of nearly 50 years as a trusted advisor and tax partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for various families and business owners and served as a consultant on complex financial matters. He was an avid traveler whose business endeavors took him all over the world. Mark was a self-made man with champagne taste who never forgot where he came from.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lorraine (Jakubiszen) Dow and brother, Don Dow.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Betsy; brother, James (Nancy) Dow; children, Laura Dow (Eric Powell), Charles (Melanie) Dow, and Gregory (Dana) Dow; cherished grandchildren, Olivia and Alex, Lilly, Grace and Jack and many nieces and nephews.
