Mark Hamel Obituary

Hamel, Mark Houston September 25, 1961-June 15, 2008. Dearest son of Sharon T. Hamel and Albert H. Hamel; dearest stepson of April Hamel. Mark loved to canoe and fish the clear streams in Missouri and in Virginia, where he lived for the past three years. His family and friends loved him dearly, will greatly miss his keen mind, quick wit, and kind heart. Mark struggled mightily with his illness before losing the battle. His spirit is now free to soar. He is at peace.Services: Private burial. If desired, memorial gifts may be made to The Nature Conservancy of Missouri at 2800 S. Brentwood Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63144. Friends are invited to sign the online register book at www.gerberchapel.com. Arrangements by GERBER CHAPEL (968-2000).
