Hearing of Marvin's passing left me shocked and saddened. I was glad that I was able to meet him again last October after so many decades and such helpful and generous correspondence through the intervening years, and to meet his supporting and loving family. His extended family are all thinking of you and wishing you comfort and peace.

Sis. Curry, Kent. Nita, Jill and Caleb,

It was my pleasure to have been Bro. Curry's secretary for so many years. He was always so kind, so considerate, so thoughtful, so caring. . . . there are not enough words to describe what a man of God Bro. Curry was to everyone he met. He will be missed in so many ways. Our loss is heavens gain!

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

To Sis. Curry and Family: It was a joy to work with Bro. Curry at PPH from 1970-1972. He was kind, considerate and most of all a Christian. As PPH manager he lived by the scripture "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I will forever cherish the good times and memories. The PPH Booth at General Conference has not been the same since his retirement.

I can see in my mind Bro. Curry leading this chorus:
What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see, no more burdens to bear, no more sorrow to share, No more sickness, no pain, no more parting over there; and with Jesus I will be, with the One who died for me, what a day glorious day that will be!

Shirley, Jill, Kent, Nita and Caleb we will see him again someday if we fight the fight and keep the faith as this marvelous man did!! What a living example he was for everyone who knew him. My prayers are with you all.

We are so sorry for your loss...but Heaven's gain. You are loved & respected so much, as was the patriarch of your family. Kent,

We are grieving with you guys. Have thought about you so much this week knowing that each stage of this process is so exhausting and painful and bittersweet. Your father was a giant of a Christian and I'm so thankful to have known him. Can't wait to see him again in Glory!
