Quinlisk family...
What a very sad time. We still find it hard to believe she is not with us all. When someone sooo special as Mary Ann is taken from us it hurts so deeply. She was a gentle, kind and wonderful lady. The warmth she gave when you were around her was one-of-a-kind. St. Patty's day parade is just not going to be the same. We will miss you so terribly Mary Ann. Whatever our family can do, please know we are here for you all.

Mrs Quinlisk was everything Irish - hearty, hale, a heart as big and fierce as that beautiful country and with a booming laugh that echoed. Her children are her greatest legacy - she taught them to be just like her. No fear, do what's right, love extravagantly, laugh often, there's always room for more, the door is always open, your family is your tribe but you can adopt friends to be family, live life to the fullest.
My only regret is that Mrs. Quinlisk did not get MORE TIME, for we will ALL miss her SO. She truly had a magnificent heart. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.
Bail ó Dhia ort, Mrs. Quinlisk, go n-éirí an bóthar leat!

Back in the day, if a reality series came to Saint Louis my vote would have been the Quinlisk house. The few times I stayed there were surreal. Lots of people came and went and usual events became hilarious. Being a guest at Gerry and Mary Ann's round table was a thrill. The stories that unfolded in the kitchen, well, its what made the home so great. Mary Ann and Gerry were always present. What a fun family, cherished memories of a day long past. I wish I could go back again.
Your mom and dad were the source of my fond memories. No talk of Normandy can exclude the legacy of your family.
On behalf of my family, please accept my condolences,
Sincerely,
Ryan Young, CBC '90

Uncle Jerry and the gang, this I am sure is a very difficult time. Aunt Mary Ann was a wonderful person. I enjoyed seeing her at showers, St. Pat's parads, making sweat shirts, and visiting at your home. She and the rest of the family seem to make your neighborhood one big home were all are welcome. I'm sure her wonderful memories will never leave Oakmont with such a heartfelt family. My prays are with each of you in such a very difficult time. Love, Kerry and Pat Kelly and family
