Right, Maxwell Henry
Maxwell Henry Right, of St. Louis, died July 20, 2022, at the age of 22. Max was hiking from his campsite in the Badlands National Park in South Dakota. After a tragic turn of events, Max passed away from dehydration and heat stroke in the presence of several National Park Service Rangers. Max is survived by his parents Michael and Dina Right, Jr.; his sister, Lucy; and his two brothers, Mickey and Ollie. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Sandra Yanker; his paternal grandparents, Michael and Mary Right, Sr.; four aunts and uncles, and seven younger cousins.
A member of Oakville High School's class of 2018, Max graduated cum laude from Missouri S&T this year with a degree in Information Science & Technology where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He had accepted a job at Accenture in St. Louis, which he was to begin this October.
His family and friends will remember Max as a beautiful soul. As kind as he was sarcastic and as curious as he was careful, Max brought joy to those around him with his quick retorts and his intense (and often fleeting) hobbies. At the time of his death, Max loved reading, skateboarding, and collecting baseball cards with his brother Mickey.
Services: A memorial service will be held to celebrate Max's life on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5508 Telegraph Rd, 63129. There will be a short reception to follow at St. Paul's. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, Max's loved ones express their sympathy by keeping his memory and sense of humor alive.

I did not know Max, but I worked with his grandfather, Mike. My heart goes out to all of you. I have a son the same age as Max and I can´t imagine the pain and sorrow you must feel. From reading the other messages, it sounds like Max was a great kid, smart, fun-loving, caring person with some of his grandpa´s sarcastic humor. Such a tragic loss. I pray that God will give you the strength to go on and know that Max is home with our Lord Jesus Christ. My deepest sympathies.

There are no words. Our hearts are breaking for you but know that we are thinking about you and praying for your family. Emily and I sat and looked through old photos and laughed and cried about all of their antics.

Max was the best of the best. Max´s smile would light the entire room. His spirit, passion for life, and sense of humor was unmatched. I´ll always remember Max´s mustang, his mis-matched clothes, and the classic rock music he always requested at the ole Soco Sears. Max helped me move in my new home a few years back and earlier this year helped me with my basement renovation. If I would have known that would be the last time I saw Max I´d say this: You saw and experienced more then most in the short time you were given. You were a great friend to so many. You were your mother and father´s pride and joy, and your brother´s biggest fan. You would have been a great father and grand father, and because all of that, everyone should vow to live their lives with the same joy. I know I will. You´re forever in our hearts. Billy Joel said it best, "only the good die young." Rest in piece brother and I´ll see you again.
