The news hit us like a hot wind, taking our breath away. Yet because of Michael's healing heart I know that he would want us to breathe deep, gather ourselves together and take in the beauty of the moment. Michael saved our family, marriage and helped us to put the shards of ourselves onto the table to rearrange them back with compassion and intention.

He tended our hearts and mended our edges. The world needs more people like him. We mourn together with you as he is so sorely missed. Planting a tree is a spectacular homage.
