Michael Daft Obituary
August 23, 1949 - April 13, 2025
Michael C. Daft, August 23, 1949-April 13, 2025, of pulmonary fibrosis. Survived by Carmen S. Peirick, his wife of 43 years. A lifelong St. Louis resident, Michael graduated Pattonville High, University of Missouri, served in the US Air Force and retired from BJC. He devoted his time to photography, winning spots in numerous juried exhibits, serving as photographer for community theatre and was a devoted volunteer for the IPHF as well as for his historic neighborhood, Compton Heights. He also enjoyed hiking, bike riding and woodworking. He will be greatly missed by his many colleagues and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to Tower Grove Park.

Sorry to hear the news of Michael´s passing. Our parents shared a close friendship - with our mothers being sorority sisters, a long time ago. Fond memories of being greeted by Evie & Bud at gatherings.
Michael made sure that he attended our father´s funeral service, which we greatly appreciated! Though we didn´t see each other much as our parents health declined, the Picco siblings have fond memories of early days spent together!

The Sonderman family grew up with the Daft family-My grandpa and Michael´s grandmother were brother and sister, thus our parents were first cousins. Michael and I were second cousins.It was my privilege to know Michael and Carmen all these years.
