My deepest sympathy on the loss of Mike. I went to St Raphael's with Mike. As a sixth grader, he was really a nice guy and here we are 60 or more years later and he still is. A couple of years ago, Kathy Thomas Hazelhorst and I went to dinner at Nicoletti's. Mike was so cordial, so welcoming, and seemed glad to see two really old friends. As we caught up on year's past, I could see how proud he was of his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. I know he will be missed by all - family, friends, customers. My prayers are with you all.

Our deepest condolences to his wife and everyone in his family including the his big Restaurant Family....We have been coming there ever since they opened and we feel like Family! We have spent almost every New Years Eve. Wedding Anniversary, and Birthdays for almost 30 something years and Mr Nicoletti was always there to ring in the New Year. One of my fondest memories is him with that microphone, and singing Frank Sinatra on New Years Eve. We will miss you Mike but will remember you and your friendly smile and your warm hospitality you shared with all your patrons. You will all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers thru this difficult time.

Our family who have lived in the neighborhood for 38 years will remember Michael and Nicoletti's Restaurant with great fondness. Our family celebrated there many times over the years and always with Michael there with his great hospitality. He will be missed. God be with his family at this difficult time.

Nicoletti I was so saddend to hear of Mikes death.My parents Angelo & Sylvia Galati and myself ate at the restaurant as often as we could.Mike never failed to come and talk Italian to my father and make us all feel so welcome we had many parties there.You will be missed and knowing he is now cooking for the Lord,the Lords says Manga

7 years ago I met one of the most kindest and sincere men that I have ever had the pleasure to know. He didn't know me, but that didn't matter. He welcomed me with open arms and a kiss on each cheek and instantly made me feel like family. He & Cheryl both employed me when I needed it & what a fun ride that was! My heart is truly breaking for the family members Mike loved so deeply and for the friends who's lives he touched so dearly. Mike was a very special man and only one like him! I adored and admired him to the fullest, there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for my family & I truly feel blessed and very special to have known him. He will forever be missed, but that infectious smile will forever be in my heart. I love you Cheryl, hold on to those wonderful memories.

Joan and I are much richer having known Michael and Cheryl over the last many years. A trip to your restaurant was always a delight, and Michael's hug for us both was a treat that we not only anticipated, but looked forward to.
Michael will be missed, a lot. God only made one Michael Nicoletti, and God got it right.

Cheryl, please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Whenever I came for dinner Mike would spy me in back of the crowd & I'd hold up two fingers and he would say, Karcher party table for two. He had more energy and more friends than I can count.

Cheryl, I worked with you at TWA and share your grief at losing your life partner and love. It was just a year last week for me....a very hard year but it does somehow get easier with time. What was comforting for me was one of his old flannel shirts that still held his smell...that I kept hanging on the bathroom door and talked to and still do. Just take it one day at a time. May God bless you with many loving memories and ease your loss day by day.

Mike was a friend to everyone and so enjoyed meeting with each of your loyal patrons and reliving life's precious moments. He was a good friend to Rich and was so kind to my family when he passed away, providing a welcome haven for his farewell dinner.

Mike was a great man. Although I didn't get to see him much these past few years he still impacted my life while I was growing up. He gave me a job when I was 16 and made me feel like family the 5 years I worked at Nicolettis. He will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to Cheryl and the entire family. Rest in Peace Mike.

Dear Nicoletti Family, So sorry to hear about your loss. My husband had known Mike a lot longer than I, especially since he would go to his barber shop and hang with him and his brother. I was introduced to Mike by Don and I found that Mike was a very true friend and person. Just a down-to-earth guy. Such a lovely man. Our thoughts are with the Nicoletti family at this difficult time. Our family has many memories of Mike during so many family celebrations at the restaurant (as well as everyday lunches and dinners) dating back to its opening in 1987. From birthday parties to our own funeral gathering at Nicoletti's, Mike was ever-present and always kind. We will miss you, Mike.
