My Dear Father, I truly hope you are at peace. I pray that you are no longer sick, no longer in pain, no longer struggling to breathe. I still catch myself getting ready to call to talk to you many times thru out the day. It is so hard to think that I won't see you again, until we meet each other in heaven. I hope you are surrounded by those we had lost before you, your brothers and sister, your Mother and Father. I pray God took you in his hands gently, as you were leaving us. I didnt want to let you go, and I still struggle with you being gone.
I knew you better than most and not as well as some. We will gather to mourn the loss of you, honour your wishes and celebrate your life this coming Saturday. It is funny this is part of the circle of life, loosing someone you are so close with, share special memories and stories you never heard, to complete the circle of our love ones life. Still it won't take the pain away. Dad, I love you. I hope you know how much you mean to me. Love, your Daughter. Lisa
