I am so sorry for your loss. May you feel God’s presence in mighty ways as you walk this journey together. I have fond memories of visiting Morris and Joyce when Susan and I were in college. He was a wonderful man.

Joyce, Susan and Mark, I was so sorry to hear of Morris’ passing. I remember him happily participating in our play time when we would be at family reunions in Paris, IL. May your memories comfort you now and in the days ahead.

This is last time I saw Morris at Harlan Tappmeyers celebration of life.
I worked for Morris at the FICB for over 3 years.
He and Tapp were the two best mentors anyone could ever work for and they were the
best credit administrators.
Morris was so intelligent in all matters-not just credit. Integrity was always the highest possible.
He communicated his thoughts with the greatest command of the English language leaving no doubt about the message but always with sincere kindness. There can never be another Morris.

Dear Joyce and family,
Morris was such a gentleman. Both my late husband Bill and I enjoyed his company just a handful of times.
Still, even a short conversation revealed his caring and insightful nature. He was, and still is, a tribute to our Lord’s faithfulness to us. Morris embodied faith in God’s promises. He had vision and tact, revealed in voter’s meetings as well as private discussions.
I pray the years of comforting memories together will overcome any sadness you feel. In Christ alone! Praise his name
Love, Jan Dieterichs

I had much respect for Morris. He was thoughtful, considerate, along with high integrity. I first met Morris in 1974 when I started my career with FICB St. Louis. He supported and mentored me, foe which I will always be grateful for.

It was a delight to have Morris sit with us in the cafeteria at Meramec Bluffs. He was chatty and cheerful. Joyce was the light of his life, and his whole day revolved around being with her as much as possible. He certainly was a wonderful example of a devoted husband. We miss him, but we are hopeful that he is enjoying a peaceful rest in God's presence.

Morris and I started college together in 1955 and have remained friends ever since. His family has lost a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and the community is minus a real asset. I will miss his energy, humor and friendship.
