Nancy Hardgrove Obituary

Hardgrove, Nancy Charlyene (nee Jossel) passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Michael, daughter Tracy, son-in-law Martin Burgess, step-grandson, Christian Burgess, and stepgranddaughter Molly Baird. She was predeceased by her brother Harry B Jossel, Jr., sonin-law William H. Baird, and step-grandson, Andrew Baird. Nancy was born in Fullerton, California, on November 29, 1938. She was raised in Tucson, Arizona, and was a graduate of the University of Arizona. Nancy enjoyed a long career as a classroom teacher in Maryland. In St. Louis she was a member and Stephen Minister at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church. Other activities included the Chesterfield Historical Commission, Crusade Against Crime, Daughters of the American Revolution, Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and her beloved Wednesday Club of St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wednesday Club, P.O. Box 410583, 63141, or Ladue Chapel, 9450 Clayton Road, 63124, are appreciated. Services: A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Ladue Chapel, 9450 Clayton Rd. Interment in St. Andrew?s Memorial Garden will be private. ST LOUIS CREMATION
