Dirkers, Norbert A. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Saturday, June 6, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Santhe M. Dirkers (nee Kosta); loving father of Eileen (Bob) Frese, Linda (Keith) Whittemore, George Dirkers and Diane (Tim) Jones; adoring grandfather of Eric, Connie and Ryan Jones, Alex Dirkers, Chris and Karyn Whittemore and Joanne (Brad) Goodrick and great-grandfather of Nathan and Jacob; dear brother of Sr. Carine Dirkers S.S.N.D. and the late Francis, Harold, Ray, Sr. Fanchette Dirkers S.S.N.D. and Catherine Maddock; our dearest brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. Norb founded M.C.S. Engineering in 1961. He was also a proud alumni of S.L.U. (I.T. 1950) and a member of the 1818 Society. He also served in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the U.S.S. Fanshaw Bay. Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, June 9, 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 530 S. Mason Rd., 63141 on Wednesday, June 10, at 9:30 a.m. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to School Sisters of Notre Dame or St. Louis University appreciated.
