Cook, Paul E. Monday, January 18, 2010. Fortified With The Sacraments Of Holy Mother Church. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Ann Cook (nee Eckhout); dear father of Paul (Linda) Cook, Jr., Elizabeth Cook, Suzanne (Greg) Pfeffer, Mark Cook, Carolyn Stack, and David (Sally) Cook; proud grandfather to Nicholas, Matthew, Mary, Daniel, Amy, Brett, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Josh, Andrew, and Alex. Dear brother to Dorothy (Jack) Sheahan, and Marian Burkhardt. Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and friend to many. Paul flew 35 missions over Europe during WWII, and was the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, Good Conduct Medal, Campaign Ribbon, and Air Medal. Services: Funeral Friday, January 22, 9:30 a.m. from BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd. Kirkwood to St. Peter Catholic Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Visitation Thursday, 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Paul, Lad is waiting for his walk. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Association of Missouri, 1705 South Hanley Rd. St. Louis, Mo. 63144.
