I was very sorry to hear of the loss of Dr. Langlois. I enjoyed working with him very much. He was quick-witted, and possessed keen insights. I'll miss arguing with him about the clinic computers. I feel very honored to have spoken with him so close to his passing. I am very sorry that I was unable to attend his service. My prayers for you all at this difficult time.

I was very sorry to hear about Paul's death. I have many pleasant memories of time I spent with him. He was always an interesting person to talk with. Paul's career spanned a period of tremendous change in the way medicine is carried out, and it was always interesting to hear him talk about his training in the early 1960s and then discuss his latest work on real-time imaging. I'm not a medical doctor, but he seemed to do a very good job of keeping up with a rapidly-changing discipline. He was a kind and generous man, with a good perspective on life and its problems. It seemed as if he always kept on an even keel whatever was going on around him. I have missed seeing him regularly after I left St. Louis, and I feel fortunate that I had a chance to know him. I'm glad to hear that the family was able to be with him at the end. I'm sure it meant a lot to him.

Thinking of you and Uncle Paul during this sad time. Reminded that "death ends a life but not a relationship for the relationship lives on in our hearts and is alive in our minds always". May those memories fill a space that is now occupied with your loss as time heals. Much Love ...

I haven't seen, Dr. Paul, as I called him in years. I'm saddened at the news of his death. Dr. Paul made such an impression on me that to this day I think of him often and the short time that we hung-out together with Julie and Susie are among my fondest memories.
He had a fabulous sense of humor and was a very generous man. As I remember, he could speak on any subject to anyone at anytime. I'm unaware of how his life played out since I last saw him but I'd bet he filled it with good times. If I could see him today I'd tell him that "I was a big shot from Chicago so do you think you could get me a table by the window." He'd know what I meant and we could both have a laugh as we headed for some quiet time in the flotation tanks.
I'll remember you always,Dr. Paul and I'll bet the Good Lord has a table waiting next to the window for a big shot from Chicago.
Amen Dr. Paul.
Your friend...

Dear Lisa and Suzanne,
I'm sorry to hear the news of your dad's passing. I didn't know your father well, but you are certainly two of my favorite people and such great daughters must be testament to a great man. I'm sorry that I'm so far away and cannot attend his services. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I'm hoping that the joy and promise of the holiday season blunts some of the pain of loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. Paul was a great person, I always admired him. He made me laugh. He was kind enough to open his house to Steve and I for our wedding 17 years ago. I pray that thoughts of him will bring you a smile.
