I still miss his mentorship and gregarious personality. He was one of the best managers I have ever had and provided me wisdom that continues to pay dividends personally and professionally. I am glad that he is a better place and think of him often...God Bless his family!

I was so sad to hear of Paul's passing. I was his secretary for many years back in the Storz days and he always made coming to work a joy. I can hear him now sitting in his office...saying a few choice words over something...gotta love Paul...always knew where you stood with him. Those were some good days with Paul and Jack and the Storz sales force.
My heart and prayers go out to the family!!!

After hearing of Paul's passing I have spent the last few days thinking of all his words of wisdom over the years. Paul had faith in me and gave me my first job in the medical industry, but he was more than a great boss and mentor, he was a true friend. When I think of his his laugh it puts a smile on my face. I can't express in words the impact he made in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with the Pagano family.

Paulie,
It is difficult for me to express the love I have for you. Until we meet again…. As so many of us that worked for you (if you even call it work) have talked about on so so many occasions it was such a special time in our lives. We all pretty much agree it was the best times in our professional lives. You made us all better and dang did we have fun!

Dearest Lynne and family, my most sincere and heartfelt condolences. I had the honor, privilege and God's blessed gift to know Paul and from Paul to get to know you Lynne and your beautiful family. I thank God for that. I have known Paul for a very short period of time of only 17 years and in those 17 years we became distant brothers. For most social events and gatherings that we two were at together I would seek out our friendship. Brother Paul and I would sit loudly or quietly at these places of meetings and make fun of ourselves
or others whether it be honest or just a simple stick me in my side with a laughable insult, story telling, or of course beer out of the nose laughter. Oh, those 17 yrs of occasionally being gifted to share the same time with Paul and all of his great friends, I thank God for this. Love is God's greatest gift and we all came to love Paul. Again, I thank God for this. Paul will be forever missed by us all. But Paul our brother shall be remembered forever by us all. His smile and laughter will forever be etched in my heart and in my memory. I thank the Lord he gave Paul to us. Lynne, may the love of your husband carry you through the days of your time and God's richest blessing fill your heart with his memories.
God bless you Lynne and your beautiful children.

We'll always remember Paul for all the "fun" he brought into people's lives and the smiles he helped put on our faces. He truly is one of the "good guys". Even though we didn't get to see him too often, he has a place in our hearts and we will miss him. Our prayers to each of you.

"this little light of yours, you (SURE)did make it shine" and laugh and love, Paul!
to your Pagano family and extended family through countless friends:
Thank you for sharing this great man with my family and I. We always enjoyed laughing and singing with Paul and the Pagano's at Christmas time. He never let me forget the time that I got a little sick while dancing;) I'll remember his smile, fun jokes, and that great laugh of his. I'll carry a song in my heart in his honor and continue to pray for you and all of us who were touched by his love, life, and laughter.

Paul,
You were one of the good guys at Storz. I'll remember you for lots of things but I remember that your family came first, and that was not always easy.
Rest in peace.

Thank you for being my friend Paul. You have touched the hearts of many. You are still with family and friends in a better place.

July 5, 2012
An amazing person...that's all I can say. No matter how far you are on the Pagano family tree, cousins are still cousins and will lend a helping hand no matter what. My name is Paul Joseph Pagano, son of Joseph Norris Pagano who passed away in Nov 2006 after being diagnosed with a brain tumor and battled it for for 7 hard-fought months. Paul reached out to him to provide support and positive energy to raise his hopes and spirit. Its sad news to hear/read about the passing of Paul. Very accomplished in his 60 years and I'm sure very proud of his family.
I've met Paul on a few other occasions, such as funerals, weddings, and reunions. He has to be one of the most genuine people I've met. So easy going and easy to speak with. Great handshake and smile. You could tell that he loved and cared deeply for his family and extended family.
Lynne and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time of loss. May God's healing mercy shine through all of this sadness.

Dear Lynne, Michael, Mark, Madelyn, Rebecca and the entire Pagano family of Delavan Drive in Bel Nor:
It is with great sadness that I learned of Paul's death. Reading the notes in this guest book, it is no surprise that he faced his rare illness, for which he knew there would be no cure, with courage, inner strength and his "infectious humor".
Everyone at St Ann's Grade School knew Paul Pagano. I was just one of the classmates who shared the many milestones of our childhood with Paul. Here are a few--
1. Under the desk bomb shelter drills
2. Praying for the election of the first Catholic president
3. Celebrating the launch of the monkey, beagle and first astronauts into space.
4. Camelot--1960-1963
5. Cuban Missile Crisis and more drills under the desk
6. Those St Ann's school picnics
7. The death of the first Catholic president
8. The Beatles coming to America
9. And my favorite. . Paul thinking that if he took "MOSES" home to celebrate with the family for Thanksgiving dinner, he would have performed a Corporal Work of Mercy.
Three years ago I was surfing FACEBOOK on a Saturday night and typed in "Paul Pagano". His profile appeared and not only did he remember me, but I was his third FACEBOOK friend. He told me that his daughter Madelyn encouraged him to join FACEBOOK because he "just might be surprised" who would be looking for him.
I am so lucky to have had these last three years to be reconnected with Paul and through his efforts and organization of the first ever and 43rd year St Ann's Reunion of the Class of 1966, we were all re-connected to each other.
Our class will never feel the same without Paul. He had a sense of mischief that was never unkind. More importantly, it was always hilarious.
He was indeed a treasure to all who knew him. May the sadness and loss you feel today be lightened by the many stories and memorable events you will hear involving Paul in the coming days.
With deepest sympathy,
Susan Righter Grimes

To Lynne, Maddie, Mark and Mike,
When life is over, it's not important who you were...it is whether or not you made a difference in someone's life!
Paul's friendship made a huge difference in my life. He was a man of integrity, transparency, and authenticity. He demonstrated these qualities to those around him. But most of all Paul's, infectious humor will be remembered most.
See you in heaven PP
RIP

"The True Gentleman is the man whose conduct proceeds from good will and an acute sense of propriety, and whose self control is equal to all emergencies; who does not make the poor man conscious of his poverty, the obscure man of his obscurity, or any man of his inferiority or deformity; who is himself humbled if necessity compels him to humble another; who does not flatter wealth, cringe before power, or boast of his own possessions or achievements; who speaks with frankness but always with sincerity and sympathy; whose deed follows his word; who thinks of the rights and feelings of others rather than his own; and who appears well in any company, a man with whom honor is sacred and virtue safe."
