Moszyk, Peter R.A., Sr., Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, March 20, 2017, at the age of 81. Loving husband of the late Regina I. Moszyk (nee Backsmann); dearest father of John A., Peter F., Jr., Paul H. Moszyk and Sabine C. (Matthew) Wyas; dearest Opi of Jessica I. Moszyk and Logan M. Wyas; dear brother of Marianne Rotgerkamp of Germany; dear brother-in-law to Franz (Betty) and Doris Backsmann, uncle, cousin and dear friend to many. Services: Funeral Monday, 9:30 a.m. from the JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, 7027 Gravois, to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Inter ment: Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the National Stroke Association would be appreciated. Visitation: Sunday, 3-8 p.m.

I am sorry to learn of Peter's death. Truthfully though, Regina, who resides in Himmel had to have been so happy upon his arrival.
What an era! our time with Peter and Regina. What loyal friends! What an interesting couple, what stories, what laughter. I have never known two people who enjoyed life together to the degree they did. I will tell their stories again and again in English and in German, over beer, in bars for the rest of my days.
