Phyllis was my godmother and from the time I was born, she always had a special place in my heart. It feels like every weekend of my childhood we were either getting together or my parents were getting a babysitter for me and going out with Phyllis and Marvin in the evenings. As I got older my relationship with Phyllis continued, and even though I left St. Louis almost 28 years ago, I would still get together with her every time I came back to visit my dad.

Phyllis Sandweiss was a great friend to us for many years. She loved family and friends and having company. We had many wonderful times with her family and ours---went to Russia and London and Florida and Las Vegas was a favorite. She will be missed. Our family was her family.

As a very close friend of her sister Mimi, we spent many occasions with Phyliss. She was always smiling, laughing and happy. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends, and may she and Mimi be kicking up a storm in this next chapter.

May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
