Passed away on October 28, 2021. He was the husband of Rosemarie (Arnold) and loving son of the late Angel and Rogelia (Yglesias) Garcia. Loving nephew of the late Anita Alvarez (Yglesias). He was born on December 30, 1933 in East St. Louis. Dearest father of Rick, Steven (Melanie), Tony (Julie), David (Mary), Tina Arras (Jim), Dani Garcia Codina (Charlie) and Kerry. Loving stepfather to Dawn Meyer (Steve) and Lisa Meyers (Larry). Brother of the late Robert (Carol) and Eugene (Muriel). Loving grandpa to Scott (Irena) Meyer. Loving Popo to Alexandra Meyers, Claire Meyers, Austin Garcia, Serafina Garcia, Anna Garcia, Emma Garcia, Dominic Arras, Charlie Codina and Louie Codina. Loving great-grandfather to Juliette Meyer. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. He will be in our hearts forever.
Services: Visitation Monday, 11/15 from 10 a.m. until service at 1 p.m. at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry). Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
