I just came back from being out of town and saw the obit. So sorry for your loss. What a sweet gal! She always beamed with pride when her kids or grandkids came up in conversation. Thoughts & prayers are with all of you and your dad.

I have known Rita, her brothers and sisters for a very long time. She was always like a big sister to me.We lived on Missouri Ave.
Mary Ann and I use to babysit for Rita and Harold.
All these years passed so quickly.Kids grew up,people move away. And people lost touch.
But there are so many memories and we need to hang on to those memories.
Harold and family I am so sorry for your loss.Rita is not suffering anymore nor in pain.
God seen how she was suffering and Said, Rita come with me to where there is no pain and you can rest in peace. He held out his hand to her and said take my hand and come with me.
She will sadly be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Hopefully some day they will find a cure for cancer and other diseases.
God bless you and your family.

Hello, everyone in Rita's family. You know, Rita was so wonderful to me, while I was part of your family. You all were. I remember when I did my student teaching, in Belleville, 17 years ago, and Rita would have me to come and have lunch with her. She always made sure everything was perfect, and most of all......fun, at the Holiday "Get Togethers." I've been sick, and not able to make it over, but, even writing this....I am getting choked up. I love you all.....and feel for you, so much. It was almost 4 years ago, that I went through exactly what you are, with my Mother. As a matter of fact, it is amazing, the similarities. I know the holidays are going to be tough......this whole year of "firsts" without her, will be. But, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and I know that God will be in you, to give you strength. It's not easy.....but, how blessed we were, weren't we......to have such beautiful, vibrant, intelligent, and fun loving women, in our lives. We have them now, as our special "Guardian Angels." Love, Dana Stock (Schultheis) [email protected]

Dear Farroll Family,
Here it is 9:33am on saturday morning. I got on line to read about the young boy who died in Millstadt and I see Rita's name.....my heart sank..I wish I would have known she was sick. I Live in Tampa Florida now, but I'm here in Illinois until mid January. There was no one like Rita, I have always loved her. I am so sorry for your pain. Life can certainly be too short at times. Both of my parents are gone now, it makes holidays so sad. I will be thinking of all of you.
Love,
Brenda
