Sergeant Beeks was my first supervisor when I was hired as a Community Service Officer by the SLMPD. Great supervisor, smooth, cool. I watched him as the first African American to officiate (LJ) in a Super Bowl. What a fascinating life!

Bob Beeks, My father's 1st cousin (Ralph Johnson). Growing up in St. Louis, I have lot's of memories of family Thanksgiving and other family dinners, and visiting Aunt Virgilee and Aunt Sister (my dear grandmother's sisters). Recently saw him while visiting my mother at the senior citizen home. Sad to see the adult figures while growing up gone. My condolences.
