Robert Bruno Obituary

Bruno, Robert N. Born March 28, 1917 in St. Louis, MO, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, April 23, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Mary A. Bruno (nee Bartles); dear father of the late Robert (Denny) Bruno; uncle to seven nephews and their families; cousin/uncle to Babe Earley and family; uncle to Pat Morris and her family; great-great-great-uncle and friend to many. Member of the greatest generation; served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II; retired from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft after 38 years of service; proud volunteer with St. Joseph Health Center, St. Charles with over 1500 hours of service. Our Uncle Bob was loved by all who had the opportunity to know him, from his family and friends to the people he volunteered with at St. Joseph's. He will be reunited with the love of his life, our Aunt Mary, his pride and joy, our cousin Denny, and his five siblings. He is in a better place. Service: at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks Chapel at J. B. National Cemetery May 7, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Under the direction of VALHALLA CHAPEL.
