I attended evening law school with Bob in the late 80s. So very smart and kind. We spoke a few weeks ago and he spoke warmly of retirement and the prospect of more time with his family. You will be deeply missed.

As a fellow corporate attorney, I spent many hours on phone calls and in conference rooms negotiating with Bob, for well over a decade. Although we were legal adversaries, Bob was always very professional and a gentleman. Our profession needs more lawyers like Bob. He was a class act. May he Rest In Peace.

Bob was so very kind and thoughtful! His way with words is something I’ll never forget and always envy. His ability to lead was second to none and I am proud to call him a good friend. I had plans to enjoy many more bottles of wine and several more round of golf with Bob. I thought of Bob as a mentor and I regret not telling him what he meant to me! I will miss you Bob and I will do my best to help your beloved family!

I had the privilege of working with Bob when he served on the Board of Directors at United Cerebral Palsy of Greater St. Louis (Heartland) for multiple terms including Board President and Chairman. Bob was always focused on challenging the staff and board on how the organization could provide more and improved services to individuals with disabilities and their families. His keen ability to evaluate an issue and present viable options and solutions were always present, and when he needed assistance his numerous friends and colleagues were always willing to help.
I will always remember Bob Bud as a most generous, caring and compassionate man. His love of family was always present and the joy of his life. May his family be comforted during this difficult time by the many fond memories you have of your time together. May those memories be a blessing to each of you.

Teri, Matt, and your entire family, Steve and I remember all the wonderful times watching Matt and Joe play soccer at Chaminade. As accomplished as Bob was in his career, it paled in comparison to his love for and joy he got from his family. Steve and I have said a prayer for all of you.

March 7, 2022

Bob dedicated more than twenty years of service to Easterseals Midwest and families impacted by disabilities in our community. He volunteered his time and talent as Board Chair, Vice President of Programs, Advocate in Jefferson City, and Co-Chair of the Tee-it-Up Auction and Golf Tournament, where he received the Volunteer of the Year award in 2017. Bob’s passion and commitment to helping children and families with disabilities were unwavering. He and his loving wife Teri attended nearly every fundraising event and inspired their family, friends, and colleagues to share their passion.
Bob was a true friend, and his memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts.

I was lucky enough to be hired by Bob back in 2017. He made life better for anyone that he met just by being him. He had a plaque in his office that read "people may not always remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel" and this is true. I was blessed to know him and he will be so very very missed.

My deepest condolences and prayers to your family.

I remember Bob from my years at Mallinckrodt. He was always so sweet. He took the time to explain 'all things legal' in ways I could understand. And he always had a smile, no matter what chaos was going on around him. In his office was a small stuffed gorilla with a sash that read, "900 lbs". I gave it to him in remembrance of a conversation we had about some contract negotiations that were not going well. He mentioned he needed a 900 lb Gorilla, so I made him one! You will be truly miss Bob Bud! My condolences you your precious family.

So sorry to hear about this. I enjoyed working with Bob for 3 years at Curium. He was so down to earth, brilliant in his work and just a lot of fun. Early on at my time there, I ran into Bob at Macy's. We chatted like we'd work together for years and I'll always remember how kind he was to us newbies. He will be missed. Prayers to his family, friends and former colleagues.
