Mrs. Jehling, I worked in the office at White-Rodgers during my senior year in high school and my Mother retired from the factory after more than 25 years. We both knew Mr. Jehling and had the highest respect for him and his kind and caring leadership style. We wish to extend our sincere sympathy to you and your family.

I was so fortunate to have known Mr. Jehling. He was my Khoury League baseball coach back when kids called adults Mr. and Mrs. and not by their first names. Such a solid man, demanding but not excessive. I knew I goofed up when I heard " C'Mon Gene!!" from the dugout. Or, "Put your hat on Sally," when I wore my cap off my head a little off.
But Mr. Jehling was more to me than just my baseball coach, having lost my father at a very early age he was a man that I looked up to and was a true role model to me. He even served as my sponsor for my confirmation. (Thank you Bill,as you were kind to let him do that for me instead of you).
The lessons I learned on the diamond; excellence, striving for perfection, teamwork, have influenced my life and I can thank Mr. Jehling for that. So glad that he was a part of my life.
With love, Gene Engel

Coletta and Family -
While we have been out of touch for a few years, I've never forgotten you or Bob, and especially our many years with Bob at White-Rodgers. He was a good friend, an excellent boss, and helped me to be a better manager and person.
I will miss him, as I know you will.

I did not know Mr. Jehling, but I do remember his and Coletta's weddling. I was probably 6 or 7 years old at the time.
May you rest in peace, Bob!
