It’s September 23, 2024 and I’m just looking over old correspondences and came across a letter from Bob. Bob and I were bunk mates in Vietnam. The letter from him is dated March 1, 1987. It’s rare that I shed a tear, but I did today upon hearing That he moved onto his next adventure. So sorry we couldn’t have kept in touch. When I found the letter, I remembered the value of the Internet and that’s what I found this obituary. Would very much like to meet Sally and the kids God bless Robert and his family he really was a man among men

Rob and family, Bill and I are sorry for your loss. I will always remember the first Halloween I met your dad on your front porch. What a delightful man.

I am so saddened to hear about Bobby. He was a big part of our family, a great friend to my brother Joe and me and so special and thoughtful to my Mom.
