Robert Joseph Lill, 87, of Troy, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 7, 2025, surrounded by his family at his residence. He was born on December 13, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Alvin and Josephine (Sciarrelli) Lill. Robert was united in marriage on August 29, 1959, in North County, Missouri, to Antoinette M. Sinopole, and to this union, two daughters were born.
Robert graduated from high school and immediately began working as a draftsman. He was well respected in the industry with 50 years of dedication. Robert specialized in structural steel and was a partner of HLB Detailers for over 30 years. After marrying the love of his life, Antoinette, they spent 34 wonderful years in North County with a great group of friends that became family. Robert then moved the family to Lincoln County, where they enjoyed the wildlife and the scenery. He looked forward to feeding the deer, the turkey, and the birds. With family being his biggest blessing in life, he truly valued the time he spent with them. They enjoyed making memories with their kids and grandchildren, going for rides, trips to the zoo, and fishing. His gentle smile and endless love will be deeply missed, as he was one of the good ones.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Antoinette M. Lill; two daughters, Deb Benning and husband, Mark and Diane Wetzel; grandchildren, Mark Benning, Christopher Benning, Nick Wetzel (Danielle), Haley Roper and Max Roper; four great-grandchildren, Brayden, Liam, Greyson and Daylee; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Lill and John Lill.
Private services were held for the family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to American Heart Association in care of Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 222, Troy, MO 63379.
