What a blessing to have known such a kind man, a great neighbor for over 20 years!I know he was pleased with the love and support his family provided to the end. God bless you for being a loving, supportive family and for loving your dad the way that you did! God is pleased with the honor you have shown your father. Keep loving each other and you all will be fine. Love you guys, The Roberts Family

To Kevin, Bob, Vickie and the rest of the Wiesler family:

So sorry to hear of your father's passing. I met him on just a few occasions -- as both a child and adult -- but was left with the same feelings each time. Obviously, it was great meeting a former major leaguer, but even more memorable was that he made you feel that you mattered, too. A special guy. My condolences on your loss.

To the Wiesler Family:

I was lucky enough to have his baseball cards in the 1950's.

Bob was a favorite to us the baseball fans.

My prayers are with you.

On behalf of his many friends in the KOM Leage and former Independence, KS Yankees and Joplin Miners, I extend condolences on their behalf. i also express my personal condolences to the family. I was honored to have known Bob over the past two decades as he attended many KOM functions and the tribute to Mickey Mantle when a book about Bob's former teammate was released.

Bob was one of those all-around good guys that just you don't find anymore. His enthusiasm for the game was readily shared with all of the “club” kids at picnics and gatherings. Bob will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
