Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

Brenda, you know your Mom will always have a special place in my heart. She always had a smile on her face and she made me feel welcome when I was at your house as we were growing up. (I also had my ears pierced by your mother-which was a big event back all those years ago.) God bless all of you.

My Aunt Ruby was my second mother. I spent many summers at her house and felt loved by her as if she were my own mother. She will be dearly missed, but we should rejoice that she is with the Lord.

My dear Aunt: Aunt Ruby was my mother's sister and best friend. My brothers, sisters and I were fortunate to have this beautiful lady in our lives from infancy into adolescence into adulthood and even for some of us, into the "grandparent" stage of life. She was definitely our second mother. We are all better people because this lovely lady touched our lives and loved us unconditionally.

Let's not mourn the loss of my Aunt, but celebrate the life of this absolutely wonderful lady. She would not want it any other way.

Uncle Ed, Brenda & Dee, Steve & April, Nancy, Diana, Ricky & Sonda, Mark, and families --- my prayers and deepest sympathy to each of you. Aunt Ruby will be missed by all.

Love,

Vickie & Family

My deepest sympathy to all. Now you will have loving memories to reflect upon.. Mine is, when I think of Aunt Ruby, I think it to be synonymous with a big smile. Aunt Ruby always saying no matter what, "It will of ok". Such a devoted wife and mother, and a privilege to all who can call her that. Her sharing of love of herself will be sadly missed. The words that would describe my mother best would be "The perfect Mother". She was the perfect role model for us all and was always there for us. She was unselfish to a fault and I will miss her dearly but I know she is on the other side now embracing our brother Eddie and is happy and at peace! I Love you Mom! Rick

I cannot find the words to express the way that I loved my grandma. I was glad to have had someone like her in my life. I will cherish the memories that I have of her always. I miss her very very much and will love her always. Thank you for being a wonderful part of my life grandma.

I cannot express in any way the gift Ruby Starr was to me. She was my friend, mother in law, and a great grandmother to my boys. She was a devoted mother to my husband Steve who lights up to the very mention of her name. I know I am a better person from lessons she taught by her example. I will miss her so much but will remember with great pride the little things she did and pass them to the future generations to come from the seeds she planted. I will miss her so much.
