Brockfeld, Russell G. 87 of Warrenton, MO. Beloved husband of Janis Brockfeld (nee Grannemann). Loving father of Jon E. (Mary) Brockfeld, Lynn G. Cole, Edward M. Meyer and Betty J. Willette. Loving grandfather of Abbigail (Troy) Strother, Jeffrey Cole, Andy (Kristin Schneider) Brockfeld, Christopher Cole. Dear Great-Grandfather of Anna Strother. He was preceded in death by his parents Gustave A. and Nellie M. Brockfeld nee Roloff, and his brother Jon E. Brockfeld. Russell was the past owner of Warrenton Oil, Warrenton Tire and Muffler and Fellowship Nursing Home. Served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member and Past All State Commander of Warrenton VFW Post 2180, past All State Commander District 9 VFW, Warrenton Elks Lodge, Warrenton Masonic Lodge, Warrenton American Legion Post, Frieden's United Church of Christ. He served 20 years as Missouri State Representative where he was also Minority Whip and Minority Floor Leader, First Recipient Warrenton High School Outstanding Alumni Award-2000. Russell was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Services: Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 11:00A.M. at PITMAN Funeral Home.
