Ruth McCreary Kay

Ruth Kay Obituary

Kay, Ruth McCreary On March 21, 2012, our dear Mimi passed away, ending a long convalescence about which she never complained. Born March 11, 1921 to Elsie and Eugene McCreary, her siblings were Paul, Lee, Jody and Eugene, Jr. (Mary), the latter residing in California. She was a devoted wife to I.M. Kay and an adoring Mother to Sherry K. Miller, and her husband, Ben; active grandmother to Kim (Timmie) Miller, Leigh (David) Poole and Jamey (Ramsey) Maune, of whom she could not get enough, and loving greatgrandmother to Remy and Coriell Miller, Alexandra, Katherine and Lara Poole and Avery, Gabrielle and Ford Maune; nieces and nephews and countless friends to whom she meant so much and who meant so much to her. Beautiful inside and out, she will continue to be our guide with a smile for everyone and a kind thought behind it. Services: No visitation. A memorial gathering may occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the I.M. Kay Unrestricted Endowment Fund at Barnes-Jewish Foundation or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A SERVICE OF THE LUPTON CHAPEL
