Sher; dear mother and mother-in-law of Barrie Sher (Karen), Ronnie Sher (Shelly) and Susan Csengody (Tom); dear grandmother of Aaron Sher (Ashlee), Jonathan Sher (Jen), Anna Sher (Chris Lubniewski), Coby Sher, Jennifer Novetsky (Zach), Dana Csengody and Emily Schink (Peter); dear great-grandmother of Violet Sher; dear sister of the late Melvin Miller (late Marlene); dear sister-in-law of Adeline Eisenberg (late Harold), the late Marilyn Schulzinger (Jake), the late Neta Scheer (late Morrie) and Phil Sher (Judy); our dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Ruth, along with her husband Harold, were generous supporters of many philanthropic programs including the Jewish Federation, Congregation Shaare Emeth, the St. Louis Community Foundation, the JCC, and Reading Is Fundamental.
Services: Graveside service Monday, November 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road. Memorial contributions of your choice preferred. Please visit bergermemorialchapel.com for more information.
