Lugo, Samuel Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Beloved husband of 61 years to Gilda Gallegos Lugo; dear father of J. Gregory (Deanna Burger), Phillip Samuel, Felice Fifi (Holland Chalfant), Nicole Nikki Hostnik (W. John Hostnik), and the late Peter Anthony Lugo.; dear grandfather to Michael, Alexandra, Samantha, Francesca, Austin, Ellis, Buddy, Lou, Sam and Garner. Sam graduated from SLU Medical School; trained at Jewish Hospital; was a surgeon since 1962, and practiced at St. Anthony's and St. Alexus Hospital. Was a Surgeon for the U.S. Navy in Vietnam War.
