Sandy and Georgia (Buckowitz) Rankin became friends early in life, primarily by being neighbors and becoming involved in politics, along with their parents. After Sandy moved away, they kept in touch via the telephone and then in person at St. Louis Bread Co. when Sandy would be back in the old neighborhood for a visit. They always enjoyed catching up on the latest family and friends´ developments and various world events. I always enjoyed hearing about her keen insights and opinions about life in general and matters of faith in particular. A lovely lady and enduring friend that is missed so much.

WE GREW UP TOGRTHER.SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND,AND UNTIL SHE MET DON WE WENT EVERYWHERE TOGETHER.SHE CAME TO ALL MY FAMILIES FUNERALS.I WENT TO HER MOM ,DAD AND GEORGIES FUNERALS.I ALWAYS THOUGHT I WOULD DIE BEFORE HER.I FOUND OUT TOO LATE TO GO TO HER FUNERALI MISS HER ALWAYS.
