I was Sarah’s teacher and advisor at Maryville. Whenever I see a pediatric oncology nurse on TV I think of her. She gave so much and was taken too soon.

My thoughts and sympathy to Sarah's family. Sarah was in my class with me at Ursuline. She was such a sweet girl with a funny side as well. I'll always remember her smile. May she rest in peace.

Our sympathy to Sarahs family. We knew her from Children's Hospital and our stays with our two boys. She was a warm caring person and will be greatly missed.

Sarah was the first nurse we really got to know as we went through a long journey with my son. I know my son Ryan greeted her at heaven's door with open arms. She was such a wonderful nurse and friend to us.

I remember when we first met Sarah. My daughter was going to BJC to become a radiology tech and Sarah a nurse. She got Kelly involved in the Light the Night event the first year at college. Sarah was at our house several times and she was such a delight to be around. She always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by us all. So sorry for your loss. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. The Naumann Family

I hope this will bring some comfort to Sarah's family. Sarah was an amazing, kind, funny, selfless, beautiful young lady. My son Brett is a patient at Mercy. Sarah was our nurse the first time we came to the Cancer center, and we have loved her tremendously from that day on. We laughed so much when we were with her, she always had a huge smile on her face. You could just feel her love and dedication for every patient. If she wasn't taking blood or giving medications you could always find her with a little one in her arms. You couldn't help being drawn to her smile and gigantic, loving heart Sarah had such an impact on every family that came to the Center. I hope you can feel all the love and prayers being sent your way from all the families at Mercy kids. You raised an incredible young lady. We are all grieving her passing. You don't meet such a wonderful human being every day. You are all in our prayers. God Bless.

Sarah was my son's favorite nurse throughout his treatment. She understood him, and he trusted her completely. We are so grateful to have experienced her encouragement, her skill, and her love. Sarah was our angel through the struggles, and I know she is joyfully reuniting with her beloved patients. Our sincerest condolences to your family for your loss.

My deepest sympathy to Sarah's family and friends. She was just embarking on a new venture in her pediatric nursing career and was to be my co-worker. She truly had a passion for children. She will be missed.

I was Sarah's teacher for 3 classes in the BSNC program at Maryville University as well as her advisor. The nursing profession has lost a caring, knowledgeable, and thoughtful professional. I found Sarah to be funny and curious and reflective about her nursing practice and her life. She was always supportive of other students. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
