Dear Andrea and Ashley,
We are deeply saddened to know Scott lost his battle with cancer. Scott was a mighty warrior and we're confident he fought the good fight and finished strong in faith and will. He was a very blessed man
to have the love of God, his wife, daughter, family and friends going with him. Our prayer for healing has been answered in Heaven, although selfishly we would have preferred it to be here---for you, and all of us who loved him. We pray the peace of God will forever keep that most tender place in your heart comforted and stregthened. May the love and support of family and friends keep you lifted in the days and months ahead.
Much Love,
Rick & Erin Machold

Though I met Scott just nine months ago...(through two mutual friends) ...I feel like I got to know him right away! He has a good natured spirit...that will continue to live on in each of our memories. When I think of him...I will picture him with a SMILE on his face!...which will,in turn, bring a smile to mine! I'm glad I got a chance to talk to him & make him laugh a little at Annie Garlich's Birthday Party! I'm sure that everyone will miss him deeply. To his Family...my heart goes out to you all....and as time passes, and you've gone through the greiving process...I'm sure that when you think of him...his memory will also bring a smile to you!
...I hope that you will find some comfort in knowing that whenever you think of him...a part of him will be right there with you! That's how I believe that you can keep him close...through those memories and talking about him... Atleast...that is what I do and has helped me with the passing of my Dad. Although he passed away 13yrs. ago,it is because of the fact that I bring him up...that my kid's ...(though one was only 5 yrs.old at the time & the other one was not yet born!)... feel like they really "know" him! My kid's will talk about him and mention his name....or how silly he might have reacted to something... as if they truly know him... and it's like he is in the room with us! .... and THAT is, atleast for ME, how I have been able to keep him "alive" and current!...through those happy memories! Scott will always be a part of you ...& everyone else, who's lives he touched! I'll miss you ,Scott!...be good up there!...(and I hope you'll visit often!...through all of our memories!)
Love, Nancy Fox!
