My heart is heavy hearing the loss of Sam. I remember Sam hanging out with my son Matt, in our home. Sam having a big smile and always being so nice. I am honored to say I knew Sam. We wish the same as many do, that there is something we could offer that would help stem the tears, the sorrow, the loss that you bear. We know your grief will not truly forever go, and neither will the memories that are sure to bring both joy and sorrow. We are sorry that Sam and your family had to pay the ultimate price for serving our country, and want you to know how grateful we are for his willingness to sacrifice; we will certainly always be indebted to Sam and those who have sacrificed as he has. We sincerely hope our prayers are heard and that from somewhere your family will feel a lasting comforting embrace.

Peggy. So sorry for your loss. No words can say my sympathy for you and your family. Your family is so dedicated to taking care of others and our country. The loss of Sean is the loss of someone I know would of made a difference in this world as you and your family do everyday with your kindness and unselfishness to take care of others. Dearest Peggy & Family,
My family and I send you our heartfelt sympathy, love and prayers. There are no words to tell you how deeply sorry we are for the loss of Sam. We want you to know how thankful we are to him for his service and sacrifice to us. We can never repay him.
We also want you to know what a profound impact your service, Peggy, to Ballwin Elementary School and the Rockwood School district made on our family. Thank you for that. You made a lasting difference.
Your entire family has made such an impact on the entire West County area. We love you all very much and appreciate so much your leadership in our families and community. It matters and it made and will continue to make a huge difference.

It is with profound sorrow that we learned of Sam's death. We were so happy to welcome Sam in to our family as our Katie's husband-Oh what joy . At this most difficult time we want to be near you with love and prayers. Unfortunately, with Grandpa Vic's broken hip this is not possible. Know that Sam is with the God he professed on his back.
