Shirley Vickroy Obituary

Vickroy, Shirley Rose (nee Kersting) asleep in Jesus' loving arms. Beloved wife of 32 years to John Vickroy; loving mother of Robert (Lonna) Frentzel, Ronald (Stasia) Frentzel, and stepmother of Carol (Jay) Barrington, John (Therese) Vickroy, and Stephen (Debra) Vickroy; dear grandmother of 10; loving friend to many. 'God bless you, and God bless our country' is the signature message to all who have called the home of Shirley Vickroy. Her motto was 'always our team' which included her church, her family, poodles of all sizes, and the St. Louis Cardinals (especially 1st baseman Jack Clark). Shirley was a longtime member and a past member on the Board of Directors of Village Lutheran Church. Shirley will be dearly missed.Services: Funeral service Thursday 11 a.m. at BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions preferred to Village Lutheran Church, 9237 Clayton Rd., Ladue. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at Bopp Chapel.
