Shocked to hear of Steve's passing. I have many fond memories of our eight years of elementary school together at St. Justin. That shock of red hair :). We're planning a reunion soon and you're on all of our minds. You'll be missed.

What a wonderful person. He was always so methodical in his thinking often having an unseen impact on me over many years of my life. The honor was mine. Much Love to Janet and family, Billyo (and Peggy)

Steve, I'm gonna' miss you brother.
We sure had some great times through the years. I'll cherish those memories forever.
Riding our bikes to Ben Franklin for some penny candy, catfishin' at Watson Trail park, fireworks, match rockets and tennis ball cannons, sledding, snowball fights and igloos, float trips and family vacations at the beach, sand sculptures, gourmet pizzas and breads, Superjam 1980 and other great rock concerts, keeping aquariums and too many pets to remember, teaching me how to draw, and giving me an appreciation for the arts and a good cold beer.

"Fare you well, I love you more than words can tell."

It was extraordinary how profound and perfectly that Steve was portrayed and expressed in words today at his memorial service, by Amy, Steve's brother, the pastor and his sister. He was such a dynamic soul. 'Steve lived life,' rang loud and authentically throughout the service, and Amy's writing to celebrate her dad was amazing, perfection. It was inspiring and alive, just as Steve always was. What a beautiful legacy and family. Love and ongoing prayers.

I am honored to have worked with Steve over the past few months. When I heard the news I was at an event where he provided significant graphics design work for us and some caricatures and I was filled with great sadness. He was a very talented and genuinely nice person. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
