Mimi, Jonathan & Family,
My heartfelt sympathies! Terry "T-Bear", was the most kind and good person! We were at Middlebury together and always spent some time at reunions sharing. Another entry here called him "gentlemanly", which I will echo and add that was really rare in college! He will be missed!

Mimi and Jonathan, as I look at Terry's photo here, it doesn't seem he changed at all from the young man I knew back in the 80's. We were friends and colleagues in the Ad Club 'Lamplighters'. Our diverse group of youth were a happy and fun loving group, and 'T-Baer' is fondly remembered as one of the most gracious and caring and gentlemanly of all of us. We were finding our way into the big world of Advertising and Marketing and we all went our separate ways, but of all the people in our little group, I have always remembered his smile and kind soul. May God give you love and strength at this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working with Terry through Blacktie. He was extremely generous in covering events at Channel 9, an organization the Baer family was instrumental in launching. He was a genuinely good and kind person. His passing is a true loss to the community.

Words cannot express how sad we are for your loss. We only hope memories of Terry can comfort you as you grieve. He was one of the kindest people we knew - always a happy, joyous, smile on his face no matter how long it had been since he had seen you! He will truly be missed by many. Much love to you and your son. Peter and Carol

Mimi, I was looking up someone else and saw Terry's name, much to my shock! I can't tell you how sad and sorry I feel...I adored all of you when we met at your new house and continue to think the same to this moment. Ohhhhh, how my heart goes out to you. Am so sorry I wasn't there today but I had no idea.
Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers and if there's anything I can do for you I'd be happy to help. This is truly a tragedy.
Peace and be well, Jinny Panton

Terry was such a generous and hard working volunteer who is already missed by all in his "museum" family. There should be a photo here, but it was hard to find one because he was so often on the other side of the camera. Prayers for Mimi and Jonathan.

This makes me so sad - for Mimi, Jonathan and for all of St. Louis. Terry was a bright spot at every event. He made everyone he met feel special, important and valued. He always remembers to the little details of a last conversation, even if a great deal of time had passed between. Prayers for the Baer family.

My sincerest condolences to Terry's family. Although we didn't keep in touch in later years, I remember with fondness our years together at Middlebury (and the drives to/from STL), and at WU. We enjoyed some good times and the occasional baseball game. I've never forgotten the time we went to a Cards game one summer between college years and afterwards went to his house and played pingpong in the basement. The time slipped by, my parents began to worry when I didn't come home, and called Cubby and Pat, who then began to worry when they thought Terry wasn't home and our parents started calling the police. Eventually it was discovered we were safe in his basement....needless to say we were more communicative and considerate after that!
Terry was a man of principle, loyal friend, caring, and a gentleman in every sense of the word...he will be remembered by many.
