Stacy " To Go"

March 10, 2022

I used to order from his restaurant , when it was located in Florissant. Pasta Con Broccoli, House dressing on the salad, "to go" I would pick up and he would come up front and always say hi , and ask me why i never dined in... lol later on when he moved his place to St Charles I then learned he had a country place right down the road from mine in Callaway County. He was a cool dude, great businessman. Im Glad T took over the legacy.

I think I said it all in 2019 so I will just post what I said then. It's hard to believe we are coming up on 10 yrs that Tom A. has been gone from this earth and journeyed to his home in heaven. He has been missed and stories continue to be told about our experiences with Tom and his family. We hope the love of friends and family carried you through the grief of losing him.

It was always a great time when we went to Arcobasso's and got seated by Tom he often sat with my wife and I and asked how things were going, one night he stopped by and asked how things were, and I mentioned that the sauce was kind of salty, he reached over grabbed a piece of bread and dipped it in the sauce, immediately snatched my plate and ran back to kitchen. Moments later he appeared with a new plate and asked if I would taste it was great as always. He is a great man and we miss him very much.

To Judy you are the love of his life. He your knight in shinning armor. Together you both showed us what the "true definition of what love really is"
To Toni my oldest & best friend since we were what 12 yrs old. There are so many memories that I have of your dad but theres one that sticks out in my mind. Remember the old Skate Palace roller rink on Fri/Sat nite the skate parties we would have to go to ? It was a weekly ritual for me to call the restaraunt when I thought that you were done with your tables so that we could line up plans for our parents to drop off/pick us up. Well one night I called but it wasnt you that answered the phone it was your dad ! Whoa I didnt know weather to hang up or ask for you. But I caved in & asked for you I mean afterall it was skating & it was very important.I remember holding the phone thinking its not too late for me to hang up... Your dad always had his rules, his morals, his sense of humor. But most of all he had his love for his family & for all that knew him. He was, is, and will always be an incredible man. One that will never be forgotten !!!
To Chrissy, Jeff, Nicole, Dom, Spencer,
Sherry, Danielle, Blake, Aunt Patti, Friends & the entire Arcobasso family "I am so very sorry" He will be missed greatly. May you always cast your love & light onto all of us Tom ! We love you. From our family to yours~

Many great memories of Tom Arcobasso and the restaurant we ate at for years back in Dellwood, the quiet and friendly atmosphere and great service, the many times Tom dropped by and sat and asked how thing were, after the place closed and moved to St Charles we followed the great food and caring attention we felt. When walking in the front door and being greeted by Tom, remembering our names and seating us as if we were part of the family. We will miss Tom and always remember the man whom fed us and kept us happy.

To all the Family our heartfelt condolences to you all God Bless.

What a great man, and business person who loved greeting everyone at his restaurant. Truly a kind man who smiled so sincerely and kindly to all who patronized his establishment. Loved going to Arcobasso's and did for years, certainly because of the warm atmosphere he established and kept.
Prayers of comfort to all the Arcobasso family, and employees, may you carry on for years to come the model he established.

To the Arcobasso Family:
You should be happy and proud that your father, husband, and grandfather touched so many lives. When I read through what others have written in this guest book I am reminded about what a wonderful and loving man Mr. Arcobasso was and how he has touched many lives.

I first went to the Arcobasso's restaurant in Dellwood when I was going Homecoming in high school and loved the great friendliness I received. Once we figured out where he had moved to we celebrated all of our holidays at the restaurant. We were there when he was celebrating the 5th year in the St. Charles area and when they closed we were so deeply saddened.

When Toni opened the new restaurant although even further a drive, we were there frequently and were always greeted by Mr. Arcobasso with a hug and a huge smile. My daughter grew up going to that restaurant and still does.

We will all miss you and love you Mr. Arcobasso!

Mr. Arcobasso was a true gentleman -- a prince of a man. But, as so many have said, he always made you feel like family. We will greatly miss him and offer his beautiful family and friends our sincere and heartfelt condolences. May God bless.

My husband and I are so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. Our first date was dinner at Arcobasso's on West Florissant. I remember meeting Tom for the first time there, I even remember what I ate---The Arcobasso Salad with house dressing and Ravioli. In 1986 we were eating at Arcobasso and shared with Tom that we were expecting our first child. He treated us to a bottle of wine on the house. Your dad always greeted me with a kiss and made us feel very welcome and at home. We just saw him at T Arcobasso's a few weeks ago and had a fishing conversation with him. We will truly miss seeing his smiling face. May God grant you and your family peace and comfort during this difficult time.
