Thomas Delaney Obituary
April 21, 1939 - May 21, 2025
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Thomas Edwin Delaney of Mehlville, St. Louis County, Missouri, on May 21, 2025. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Sandra Delaney (nee Smith), father John E. Delaney and mother Eugenia "Gene" Delaney of Rock Hill, MO, and sister Sally J. Delaney. Survived by siblings Flo (Vincent) Ryan and Michael (Judy Haar) Delaney. He was a dear father and father-in-law to son David (Cindy nee Sodemann) Delaney, daughters Pamela Delaney and Patty (Richard) King of Columbia, MO, proud grandfather to Jack Pawloski, Iris Redmond, Patrick and Nick King, Thomas (TJ) and Timothy Delaney, loving uncle, cousin, and friend to so many others. Please join us in celebrating Tom on Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 1-4pm at Bartolino's South, 5914 S Lindbergh Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63123.

My deepest condolences to the family of Tom Delaney on his recent passing.
I knew Tom from working with him at Source Finance in the early 1980's.
Tom and I shared many common interests having both worked as CPA's and later in the real estate profession.
I was always impressed with Tom's positive attitude and great sense of humor.
We shared a lot of laughs over the years.
Tom will be missed.

Tom was a supportive and loyal friend, frequently ready to discuss (at length) either running, health, or politics, and always with a humorous quip and a smile. I'll miss him, my good colleague and friend for over 50 years.

So very sorry we were out of town when the Celebration of Life was held. Tom (and Sandy) was a wonderful friend or ours, especially in the Price Waterhouse days. I greatly value our recent lunches together as we renewed our friendship.
