Thomas Hadican Obituary

Thomas Michael Hadican, 82, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, in his hometown, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Thomas leaves behind a legacy rooted in faith, family, and friends.

Born on July 12, 1943, Thomas shared over five decades of marriage with his beloved wife, Deborah Hadican (Monti). Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and devotion. He loved his children-Thomas Hadican, Jr. (Tina), Kevin Hadican (Kara), Kelly Crabtree (Ted), Colin Hadican (Candace), Erin Grate (Kyle), and Bridget Price (Nick), each of whom carries forward his values of compassion and perseverance.

His pride and joy were his 16 grandchildren – Grace, Avery, Ella, Reagan, Josie, Shea, Joey, Gabe, Seamus, Brinley, Louie, Charlotte, Jacob, Laney, Clara, and Noah.

Thomas was the beloved son of Joseph and Mary Hadican. He grew up in a warm and close-knit Catholic family alongside his siblings J. Martin Hadican (Gail), Eileen Nebel (Herman), Sr. Mary Kay Hadican (Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet), and Denny Hadican (Mary). From an early age, Thomas embodied hard work, dedication, and integrity-qualities that would shape every part of his life.

He spent his professional career working in the Automotive industry and found a home at Dave Sinclair Ford for the last 43 years. Tom's passion for people, the car business, and the Sinclair family, made him one of the all-time greats.

When Tom wasn't working or with his family, he spent most of his time in service to the Catholic Church. He went to Mass every morning at St. Michael the Archangel parish.

He frequently visited and had a great passion for Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Church, attending Mass at these locations and leading several fundraising events for both. His perfect Sunday always included a visit to the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters (The Pink Sisters).

Thomas's family remembers him most for the simple and quiet acts of kindness and generosity that defined his life. Whether gathering around the dinner table, offering words of guidance, or lending a helping hand, he lived with humility and purpose. His presence was steady, and his love for his family unwavering.

His many friends remember him as someone that was always there for them, in good times and bad. He cherished his relationships with lifelong friends from the old neighborhood and loved making new friends every day as he never met a stranger.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Thomas's life during the visitation on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO 63123. A Funeral Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church, 6737 S. Rock Hill Road, Affton, MO 63123.

Thomas Michael Hadican will be deeply missed, but his spirit will be forever remembered with love.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Church, https://osvhub.com/stbakhitastl/giving/funds, or Mount Grace Convent (The Pink Sisters), PO Box 21627, St. Louis, MO 63109.

Dear Marty and the entire Hadican family, please accept sincere condolences for the loss of Tommy. I believe his obituary spells it all out about his character and life. If you were a believer in incarnation, you would know Tommy came back as the GOOD SAMARATAIN. Having not seen nor talked to Tom in over 60 years since I left St. Louis, he was right there for me when I needed help with my two brothers' care. And as Bob Hope used to sing in his famous closing song, "THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES." Tommy has certainly delivered on that. Thank you, Tom, and may you rest in peace.
