To my dearest St. Louis family, I send this poem to you.
"God saw that Travis was getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around Trav,
And whispered, 'Come to Me.'
With tearful eyes we watched,
And saw him pass away.
Although we loved our Travis dearly,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
And hard-working hands are at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove,
That He only takes the best."
I will love and miss Travis always and take comfort that he no longer feels pain. I am so blessed to have had him in my life even though it was for too short a period of time, but I know one day we will all be together again, laughing, singing and playing together.
I love you all. - Aunt Maria, New Orleans, LA

Tarra and family,
I can only imagine your loss. Even though it's hard right now, there will come a time when you will be able to focus on the joy that Travis brought to you and the world. It was obvious by the large number of guests at the memorial that he was loved by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Henry Family,
Although I cannot be there in person to celebrate Travis' life, I will be doing so from miles away. Travis was a beautiful person, loved by so many. As he was by my side, I am standing by all of yours. My thoughts are with you all.
Travis, you will never leave my heart.

Trav,
Words can not express the loss so many of us are feeling. Your family is constantly in my thoughts and prayers. We need to remember that you are at peace now and no longer have to struggle through anything. We love you and know that you will watch over us all and help us get through this tough time! Robert, Tara, Sally, and Curtis....remember the good times and know that each of us has a new angel to help guide us! Thoughts and prayers are with all of you and the rest of your family.

Travis I had not seen you in years but when I found out the news the breath was knocked out of me. Not just anyone has the ability to make positive long lasting impressions on other people, but you did. We weren't the kind of friends in high school that hung out all the time but I remember when our paths did cross it would all ways end with you making me laugh about something or another. That's what I'll all ways remember about you. We are all going to miss you.
