Virgie McBride Obituary

McBride, Virgie M. 97, died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. She had been a resident of Mark Twain Assisted Living, Moberly, MO for the last 3 years. Virgie was born in rural Randolph County, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry and Nellie Holobaugh. She was employed by the Clayton School District prior to her retirement in 1975. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Melvin, a son, Taylor, 5 brothers, and a great-grandson. Surviving are two sons and a daughter: James (Sherry), Henry (LeAnn) and Nellie Ehrhardt (John). Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. All her family and friends dearly loved her. Services: The family is being served by the BAUE Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay, St. Charles, MO where visitation will be held Thursday, November 12, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service, Friday, November 13, 10:00 a.m. at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel, 3950 West Clay, St. Charles, MO.
